In a departure from their traditional use, upholstery tacks have taken a more whimsical design direction in studs, spikes and crystals.  We now see them jazzing up furnishings, cabinetry, doors and tiles alike.

Adding embellishments of this sort is an easy and cost effective way to update the look of your furnishings, bring attention to architectural details, or take your decor in a completely new style direction.  Upholstery tacks come in a myriad of  sizes, shapes and styles. Stay with traditional gold rounded buttons, bedazzle your bed frame with glittering crystals, or combine the two in an intricate tack pattern.

Of course you don’t have to hammer them in one by one!  Tack strips are available and can make the daunting task of keeping each tack in its place a walk in the park.  For flat surfaces, such as walls, tiles and cabinetry, cut off the nail end and adhere with glue.
