Paint the base color and allow it to dry completely before glazing.
To prepare your topcoat glaze color, pour 1 part PREMIUM PLUS® Paint (one quart) and 4 parts FAUX GLAZE (one gallon) into a bucket and mix the contents thoroughly. For a more see-through or transparent look, add extra faux glaze to the mixture. For a denser or more opaque glaze color, add more paint to the mixture. The mixture will generally cover approximately 400 sq. ft.
Pour your color glaze mixture into a paint tray and work a 6" mini roller into the glaze until it is fully loaded. To remove excess glaze, roll the tool on the ribbed area of the paint tray.
Starting at a top corner of your project area, roll the colored glaze onto a 3' x 3' section.
Work in small square sections of about 6" x 6". First, drag the whisk broom down a 6" length and then drag it across a 6" width. Then, stop.
While the glaze is wet, continue to the next 6" x 6" section. Repeat the process of dragging the whisk broom down and then across until the 3' x 3' section is complete.
Move to the right and repeat the process again. Overlap and blend each section to avoid hard edges.
Continue these steps until the project is complete.
