\nPaper
\nPencil
\n1\/2″ wood board
\nPaint – in the color\/s of your choice
\nPaper towels
\nMini roller, or 2″ paintbrush
\nDetail paintbrush
\nWood glue
\nTools:<\/strong>
\nJigsaw<\/a>
\nSandpaper, or sanding block
\nClamps
\nStep 1: Create Template<\/strong>
\nDraw out the different parts of your turkey on a piece of paper to size.  Cut them out when you are happy with the design.
\n\"Paper
\nStep 2: Trace Shapes on Wood<\/strong>
\nTrace your shapes on a piece of wood board. Flip the tail feather pieces and trace the mirror image for the left hand side of the turkey body.
\n\"Tracing
\nStep 3: Cut out design<\/strong>
\nUse a jigsaw along the outlines to cut the turkey pattern out of the wood.
\n\"Cutting
\nStep 4: Sand<\/strong>
\nAfter you’ve cut out all the shapes, smooth out the rough edges with a piece of sandpaper.
\n\"Sanding
\nStep 5: Prep for painting<\/strong>
\nPrepare your pieces for paint by wiping clean the wood dust from the sanding step.
\n\"Removing
\nStep 6: Paint<\/strong>
\nWith a brush or a mini roller paint your turkey pieces in the colors of your choice. Allow to dry and apply a second coat if necessary\/desired.
\n\"Painting \"Wood
\nColors used- Turkey body: Gold Hearted T17-02<\/a>, Top feathers: Sustainable S350-4<\/a>, Bottom feathers: Midori P330-5<\/a>, Beak: Joyful Orange P240-7<\/a><\/em>
\nStep 7: Glue Together<\/strong>
\nOnce the paint has dried, glue the pieces together with wood glue. Overlap them over the back of the turkey\u2019s body.

\nStep 8: Let Dry<\/strong>
\nClamp your pieces together and allow them to dry for one hour.
\n\"Using
\nStep 9: Paint Details<\/strong>
\nPaint the eyes and any other details that you desire by using a detail paintbrush.
