\nWhat better way to decorate for Halloween than with pumpkins? This year we stepped away from the traditional orange, black, and purple combinations to take look into what’s trending in holiday color.  What we found was luscious and luxurious- who knew Halloween could be so glamorous?!
\nHot on the design horizon are berry tones. Rich, soft, and organic, these colors bring a bit of light-hearted fun and fantasy to the holiday.   Combine with black, bone whites, and dazzling gold accents, and you’ve got truly decadent decor that even the snootiest of spooks will appreciate.

\nRule Breaker MQ1-01<\/em><\/a> and Carnation Festival HDC-AC-26A<\/a><\/em> provide the perfect berry tones to keep your Halloween spooky enough for a haunting display or enchanted dinner setting.
\nPainting pumpkins is a great alternative to carving them. Less mess and they will last longer, especially for those of us who live in hotter areas. I used a few different sizes for interest. I added touches of gold and cream, both nicely complement Rule Breaker MQ1-01<\/em><\/a> and Carnation Festival HDC-AC-26A<\/a><\/em>.

\nFor the haunting display, on the table use a plain black table cloth and cover with a spider web lace. Add some cobwebs and skulls to give an extra eerie feel. Place larger painted pumpkins on stands or candlesticks. The smaller pumpkins can be placed on the table, gathered in one place, and arranged as a focal piece.  When you are ready to eat, black & white plates with gold utensils pair well for this setting. Scatter fall leaves and light some candles for that enchanted touch.
