Oh yeah&#8230; pinecones galore!!!&nbsp; Set yourself on a collection adventure for these seasonal icons and create this colorful, holiday, project perfect for Thanksgiving and Christmas alike.&nbsp;<br><strong>To complete this project you will need the following:<\/strong><br>Paint brushes<br>Eye hooks<br>Ribbon<br>Faux pine branches<br>Door wreath hanger<br>Glue gun or glue<br>Paint: we used:&nbsp;<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.behr.com\/consumer\/ColorDetailView\/PPU6-04\">Pyramid Gold PPU6-04<\/a><\/em>, <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.behr.com\/consumer\/ColorDetailView\/P520-6\">Mega Blue P520-6<\/a><\/em>, <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.behr.com\/consumer\/ColorDetailView\/PPU10-03\">Green Energy PPU10-03<\/a><\/em>, <em> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.behr.com\/consumer\/ColorDetailView\/PPU1-19\">Classic Berry&nbsp; PPU1-19<\/a><\/em> and <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.behr.com\/consumer\/ColorDetailView\/PPU17-02\">Oriental Eggplant PPU17-02<\/a><\/em>.<br><strong>Step 1: Paint pinecone tips<\/strong><br>For this look, we mostly painted the tips of the pinecones.&nbsp; However, for greater color presence, you can paint the entire pinecone.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.behr.com\/colorfullybehr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/Pinecone-Project-Step-One.jpg\" alt=\"This image shows a pinecone being painted with a small paintbrush. \"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 2: Insert eye hooks<\/strong><br>Allow the pinecone to dry then insert eye hook into the bottom by twisting it in.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.behr.com\/colorfullybehr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/pinecone-project-step-three.jpg\" alt=\"After pinecone is finished drying then twist in eye hook so the ribbon can hang from it. \"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 3: Attach decorative ribbon<\/strong><br>Cut various lengths of decorative ribbon to hang you pinecones with.&nbsp; Tie one end of your ribbon to the eye hook.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.behr.com\/colorfullybehr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/pinecone-project-step-four.jpg\" alt=\"Ribbon being attached to eye hook. \"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>S<strong>tep 4: Add decorative elements <\/strong><br>With your glue gun, or glue, attach some decorative elements such as pieces of faux pine or ribbon to the top of the pinecones.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.behr.com\/colorfullybehr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/pinecone-project-step-five.jpg\" alt=\"A bow being hot glued to the pinecone in order to hide the eye hook. \"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><strong>Step 5: Attach pinecones to hanger<\/strong><br>Tie the free end of your pinecone ribbons to a ring and hang on your door hanger.&nbsp; Et voila!<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.behr.com\/colorfullybehr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/Christmas-Coat-Rack4789.jpg\" alt=\"A detail image of the pinecones hanging from the interior door with a door hanger. \"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><em>The door is painted <a href=\"https:\/\/www.behr.com\/consumer\/ColorDetailView\/T18-11\">Unplugged T18-11<\/a> and the pinecone tips are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.behr.com\/consumer\/ColorDetailView\/PPU6-04\">Pyramid Gold PPU6-04<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.behr.com\/consumer\/ColorDetailView\/P520-6\">Mega Blue P520-6<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.behr.com\/consumer\/ColorDetailView\/PPU10-03\">Green Energy PPU10-03<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.behr.com\/consumer\/ColorDetailView\/PPU1-19\">Classic Berry&nbsp; PPU1-19<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.behr.com\/consumer\/ColorDetailView\/PPU17-02\">Oriental Eggplant PPU17-02<\/a><\/em>.<br>Visit our holiday collection for more fun and easy seasonal projects.<br>Colorfully Yours,<br>Deanna<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Winter is coming and you know what that means!
