\nTo achieve this transformation you will need the following:
\n\u2022 Molding- chair and crown
\n\u2022 Paint- in the colors of your choice (we used Elephant Skin PPU18-16<\/a>, and Standing Ovation N570-2<\/a>)
\n\u2022 Painter\u2019s Tape
\n\u2022 Paint Rollers
\n\u2022 Brad Gun
\n\u2022 Level
\n\u2022 Tape Measure
\n\u2022 Miter Saw or Hand Saw
\nSTEP 1: Prep Wall<\/strong>
\nRemove all furnishings and d\u00e9cor items from on and around wall. Measure the length and width of the walls you will be painting and installing molding on. Mark on the wall where you\u2019d like the two colors to meet.
\n\"A
\nSTEP 2: Divide Wall In Two<\/strong>
\nWith a pencil and a level draw a line across the wall from the mark you just made.
\n\"A
\nSTEP 3: Tape Above Line<\/strong>
\nApply painter\u2019s tape along the wall above the line you just drew.
\n\"A
\nSTEP 4: Paint Color 1<\/strong>
\nPaint the wall below the tape with the color you have chosen for the lower wall. Allow 2 hours to dry and apply second coat if necessary\/desired.
\n\"A
\nSTEP 5: Remove and Reapply Tape<\/strong>
\nRemove the tape from the first color and reapply painter\u2019s tape along the top edge of the color just painted.
\n\"A
\nSTEP 6: Paint Color 2<\/strong>
\nPaint the wall above the tape with the color you have chosen for the upper wall. Allow 2 hours to dry and apply second coat if necessary\/desired. Remove tape when dry.
\n\"A
\nSTEP 7: Cut and Paint Molding<\/strong>
\nMeasure and cut your lengths of molding to size. Crown and chair rail work best for this look. Paint the molding the color selected for the upper wall. Allow 2 hours to dry and apply second coat if necessary\/desired.
