Easy to apply, and available in hundreds of colors, the transformations can now begin!<!--more--><br \/>\nOur first transformation project was this rather drab looking chair.\u00a0 We liked the style and structure of the chair, but it looked tired.\u00a0 Enter Chalk Decorative Paint and it&#8217;s transformed into a bright and fresh bistro chair!<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-14615 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.behr.com\/colorfullybehr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/Chair-Before.jpg\" alt=\"A before shot of an old chair getting ready for makeover.\" width=\"740\" height=\"1023\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.behr.com\/colorfullybehr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/Chair-Before.jpg 740w, https:\/\/www.behr.com\/colorfullybehr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/Chair-Before-217x300.jpg 217w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 740px) 100vw, 740px\" \/><br \/>\nTo Complete this project you will need the following:<br \/>\n<strong>Tools and Materials:<\/strong><br \/>\nBehr\u00ae Chalk Decorative Paint -color <a href=\"https:\/\/behr.com\/consumer\/products\/chalk-decorative-paint#behrchalk\">Salmon Coral BCP03<\/a><br \/>\nPiece of furniture to be painted (can be a new or old piece)<br \/>\nPaint brush<br \/>\nBehr\u00ae Wax Decorative Finish in Dark<br \/>\nClean rag for wax application<br \/>\nSandpaper or a sanding block<br \/>\n<strong>Step 1: Prep piece for painting<\/strong><br \/>\nA bit of light prep is a good place to start.\u00a0 Clean your piece free of any food, dust, and previous finish residuals with a gentle cleaning solution.\u00a0 When dry lightly sand your piece to create a surface the chalk decorative paint can adhere to.
