\nLooking for a project to do on a cool winter day?\u00a0 We’ve got the perfect project in this darling winter scene shadow box.\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0To complete this project this you will need the following materials and tools:
\nWooden shadow box
\nSmall paint brush
\nWooden cutouts in animal\/seasonal\/holiday themes
\nDried or artificial twigs and sprigs
\nDecorative paper in the patter or color of your choice
\nPaint
\n12″ LED light pack (may need batteries)
\nDrill and drill bit
\nGlue, glue gun and glue sticks
\nStep 1: Assemble supplies<\/strong>
\nGather all items together to complete the project.\u00a0 Take a moment to measure and cut your paper, twigs and sprigs to fit within the box.
\n\"Material
\nStep 2: Paint box<\/strong>
\nPaint your shadow box inside and out in the color of choice.\u00a0 \u00a0We used Ice Water BCP26<\/a> and Fossil Gray BCP42.<\/a>
\n\"Painting
\nStep 3: Glue in paper<\/strong>
\nApply glue to back of the box and secure paper in place.
\n\"Material
\nStep 4: Paint and arrange box decor<\/strong>
\nPaint your wood cutouts and floral clippings.\u00a0 We painted our wooden deer in Fresh Earth BCP14<\/a>. When dry, position your items in the box in preparation to hot glue.
\n\"Material \"Painted
\nStep 5: Hot glue elements<\/strong>
\nWhen you are happy with the positioning of your items, secure them in place with your glue gun.
\n\"Gluing
\nIf you are gluing detail elements to your items do so now.\u00a0 If you’d like to string lights through your box move onto step 6, if not skip to step 8.
\n\"Adding
\nStep 7: String lights (optional)<\/strong>
\nTo string lights through the box you will need to drill two holes into each of the top corners.\u00a0 Select a drill bit that will allow you to string your lights through. Drill one hole in the upper right corner and another in the upper left.
\n\"Drilling
\nString your lights through one of the back top holes, across the inside of the box and out the hole on the opposite side.
\n\"Adding \"Finished
\nStep 8: Display<\/strong>
\nAdd batteries to your lights if needed, turn on and display where all can see.
