Are you ready to update your home office but don’t want to spend a lot of time or money? An easy fix is a quick color refresh by upcycling an old desk or chair. You may already have something at home that needs a make-over, or unique options could be found at a local consignment store.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The color palette chosen for this project was inspired by a piece of bright floral fabric found at a craft store.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With any furniture makeover, you will want to start by cleaning, lightly sanding, and priming. When you are ready to paint, use a sponge roller on flat surfaces for a smooth finish. Always let the paint dry completely before applying a second coat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A deep bold blue combined with the vibrant splash of yellow gives this desk new life. Compass Blue suggests richness and depth while Celebration feels like the life of the party.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The muted coral, King Salmon is a complimentary color and brings a softness to the room. The floral pattern for the upholstery has a lively playfulness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With some paint, upholstery and decorative accents the furniture becomes the focal point in the room. It is all that is needed to make the space feel fresh and vibrant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
