How to Repair a Hole on a Concrete Surface

Repair holes in your concrete surfaces before you refresh your home with a new coat of paint!

  1. Remove loose debris.

    Step 1

    Remove any loose debris from the hole. Wipe the area clean with a water-dampened rag.

  2. Fill hole with concrete patching material.

    Step 2

    Using a putty knife, spread a thin layer of concrete patching material into the hole.

  3. Blend area with a wet sponge.

    Step 3

    Using a wet sponge, blend the repaired area into the existing surface.

  4. Let area dry.

    Step 4

    Allow the area to dry.
