Rated 1 out of 5 by from Caution I wish I read the reviews and used something else. I prepared my stamped concrete and followed all directions to the “t.” I used 3 gallons and got the cloudy/white finish. I open, against my better judgment, my 4th gallon and applied the second coat over part of it, as instructed in this feed. Of course, no difference. I tried power washing and it doesn’t come off. Now to look for a stripper, which none are specifically recommended. Any suggestions? This totally sucks!!! I am ready to just restain over this.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible!!! Last year we decided to seal our patio pavers, that literally was a 20,000 investment in our home... This product literally ruined our patio... It goes on smooth, but dries on a milky white coat that looked awful. Then this winter peeled and left big patchy areas all over the patio. There have been numerous reviews similar to this and why they haven’t removed this from the market is beyond me... We have spent about 30 hours so far power washing to remove this and we are half way done... please read reviews before you waste time and money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Looked great til it rained 48 hours later Used the Behr decorative concrete stain first, then put down the sealant. I had a temporary fence up around the patio as well to keep the dogs out. After about 48 hours after finishing up the sealant, took the fence down. Then it rained and the dogs tracked some dirt/mud on the concrete. Now their paw prints won’t come off and it looks terrible. I even tried scrubbing it with water and a broom and nothing. Not happy with this sealant at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for concert driveways I have been buying this product for the past 10 years. I have a four car garage driveway that is Black concrete. It was poured black. I live in northern Nevada. To protect it and keep the black color I mix in black concrete color and it restores the color and keeps the moisture out. I roll this on with the large 18 in roller. I do this every other year and my driveway looks just like it was just poured. Buy it. You won’t be sorry. My only regret is the price has increase $8 a gallon from my first application.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Look Easy Application  used this product on my newly built travertine patio - 900sf. I read all the reviews before I bought this and I can tell you that it was easy to put down and didn’t cause any problems for me. Read and follow all the precautions and directions. Make sure that any of the situations listed don’t apply to you and follow the directions. I tried to use a cheap garden sprayer and I am here to tell you don’t waste your time. It didn’t come out well enough and either way you still have to back roll it to even out any puddling. I applied the sealer like I was painting. Not too thick and not too thin. After waiting the recommended time, I added the second coat. I also put that coat on like I was painting a wall. I made sure I didn’t reroll over the same area too much to affect the first coat and I overlapped properly. After it dried it was perfect. It brought out all color in my travertine. It wasn’t too thick with 2 coats. So it wasn’t too shiny or slippery. It’s a good product and don’t let all these negative stories stop you from tackling the project. It’s really not too hard. Surface prep and making sure it’s dry and you don’t have any moisture issues seeping up in your stone/pavers is key. Go with a thin first coat to see how that goes. You can always add more thin coats. Don’t overthink or over worry. Food the instructions and you will be fine

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed I read the reviews both positive and negative. I followed the instructions for applying to my walkway, fronts stairs and the landing. Made sure the temp was appropriate, no direct sunlight, didn’t roll it out to heavily and even back brushed to make sure that it was uniform. It ended up with milky white splotches all over the concrete. I am beside myself. All the work to clean and prep the area and to have it look so terrible now. I had hoped that my walk way and steps would be a good review but I have absolutely nothing positive to say about this sealer. An absolute waste of time and money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great wet look sealer, so far Used Muriatic acid as recommended to prep concrete that was finished last month. First layer used alot of the sealer and just darkened the concrete slightly. The next three costs used less sealer and after the second coat, the concrete started looking darker and wetter. First two coats I used a 1/4" nap, epoxy roller. The last two coats I used a3/8" nap regular roller. For the first coat, I didn't have to worry about pooling liquid, but the last two coats I had to re-roll alot, in differing directions to make sure that there were no lines. The pictures of other reviewers showed lines... sounds like more care should've been used. The sealer was used to prevent staining the concrete, from dog poop. I probably should have colored the concrete a little before applying the sealer to minimize the existing poo dark spots... but the sealer certainly makes cleanup easier now. Probably should have left a patch of dirt and covered it with loose stone to prevent water pooling (yard is enclosed on all four sides). The sealer looks bright blue/white when being applied but it dries clear. Probably the fact that our humidity level is normally in the teens right now (fire season) but a quick check shows 33% and it's been in the upper 80's/90's this week. When the sealer was in the sun, I worked quickly to smooth everything out since I assumed that the way the liquid surface looked wet, was the way the surface would look dry. Overall I'm happy with the sealer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wet look not The wet look sealer is a terrible product. I followed instructions to the letter. It ruined my new patio stone, it left a milky residual. I wish I had read the reviews before using it. Now I have to figure out how to strip it and restore my stone. The time and money is no comparison to how angry I am. I have always used behr products and loved them this is the first time I have been so disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Application over Greystone I just had a stone patio installed in my backyard and after nearly 1 week of curing, I applied 2 coats of the sealer. Admittedly, when I saw the sealer was milky white when poured from the container, I was a bit concerned but I followed the instructions from the BEHR website and it went on without any trouble. I am now motivated to apply multiple coats for a really wet look and to protect the cement and pavers from cracking. I am happy with the appearance. just follow the instructions on the website videos.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Discolored my stamped concrete I used a higher quality wet look concrete sealer but ran out before completing the job. Against my better judgement I went to Home Depot to buy the Behr brand Wet Look sealer because it was close to home. I saw the reviews but went by convenience. The Behr left my stamped concrete with a white film. Now sure what to do now. Shoulda just drove the extra 15 miles to get the better brand.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from CAN YOU GIVE THIS PRODUCT LESS THAN 1 STAR PLEASE! This product should seriously not be on the market." Unfortunately this is a fool me twice shame on me scenario" Used this product approximately 12 years ago on stamped concrete and had a milky white finish. Chalked it up to possibly having done something wrong, although I believe I followed the directions appropriately. Tried numerous solvents to remove the sealer with horrible results. Actually had to wait for the product to wear off before applying another sealer. Shame on me 12 years later against my better judgement helped my girlfriend seal her new acid stained concrete pad with.... You guessed it BEHR PREMIUM WET-LOOK Sealer. Once again, You guessed it, same milky mess I had the first time. Followed the directions to a tee! We intentionally applied a LIGHT first coat with rollers. Approximately 2 1/4 gallons for 1,000 sq feet. Planned on applying a second coat if needed didn't want that milky finish I had before.... But that is exactly what we got, a milky white mess!!! Totally agree with the person who said maybe a class action lawsuit is in order. Why should many people have to waste money and time "TRYING" sealing concrete with this product! Only to end up with a MESS that the customer has to deal with. Which again will end up costing MORE MONEY, TIME and AGGRAVATION....... PLEASE choose any other product to seal your concrete!!!!! IF there were no other products on the market I would prefer to watch my concrete crumble over time.....

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Behr please stop selling this I wish I would have read these reviews before buying this product and not while trying to resolve the milky look left all over my cement Back porch and walkway. Please stop selling this product you are wasting people’s time and money. $800 and a weeks worth of work down the drain.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Protects well Used this product on my paver patio over six years ago after it was installed and it did a good job protecting the patio and keeping weeds and moss out of the cracks. I pressure washed my patio this spring as it was showing signs of some moss in cracks and dirty/discolored in a few spots. After pressure washing and sweeping new sand in the cracks I used this sealer again and I'm expecting another 5-6 years before I have to touch this patio. I would highly recommend following application instructions, do not apply in full sun or when the pavers are warm. We started in the morning with no sun on patio and application was easy. I sprayed it on using a lawn/garden sprayer and then my wife rolled it using a paint roller. We had no issues until the end because the sun started hitting the patio and the pavers started warming up. We have a few spots that dried white but only in the section we finished in the sun. Overall I'm happy with this product and feel it protects really well!
