Step-by-step process
Step 1
Sweep the deck and clean with BEHR PREMIUM® All-in-One Wood Cleaner.
Step 2
Cover the deck with a drop cloth.
Step 3
Pour solid color stain into a paint tray and apply to vertical surfaces first.
Step 4
Cut in around edges and hard to reach places with a mini-roller.
Step 5
Apply the first coat of stain to the composite deck.
Step 6
Allow deck to dry for 1-2 hours.
Step 7
Apply a second coat to the composite deck.
Step 8
Enjoy your beautifully stained deck.
