Step-by-step process
Step 1
Place plastic sheeting or a drop cloth on plants, patio surfaces and other objects to protect them from any spills, splashes and drips.
Step 2
Lightly sand any rough or uneven areas and wipe the furniture clean.
Step 3
With your brush, apply the stain, brushing in the same direction as the wood grain.
TIP: Use a quality brush. Be careful of drips.
Step 4
Repeat the process of applying the stain until your project is complete.
