- Paint Thinner
- Painter's Tape

Step-by-step process
Step 1
To prep the surface, gently sand the wood with a sanding block and 220 grit sandpaper, then give it a wipe with a lint-free cloth to remove all dust.
Step 2
Apply a thin coat following the direction of the wood grain, making sure to keep a "wet" edge.
Step 3
Lightly sand the surface once more with 220 grit sandpaper and wipe away the dust with a lint-free cloth.
Step 4
After applying a second coat, let it dry for a couple more hours.
