Preparation:

• The surface must be clean and dry before applying spackling compound.

Application:

• The surface must be clean and dry.
• To open, cut tip at 45° angle at desired size and slightly overfill hole.
• Spread with a putty knife.
• Allow to dry thoroughly before sanding or painting. Spackling will change color from pink to white when surface can accept a second application or is ready to be sanded and painted.
• Sand flush with surface. Repeat as necessary.
• Prime for topcoats of any sheen higher than flat to prevent flashing.
• Do not apply when temperature is below 50° F.
• Do not apply outside if rain is expected within 24 hours.

Clean Up & Disposal:

• Clean tools, equipment and excess uncured material with soap and water immediately after use.
• For disposal of empty containers, unused product and soiled rags, contact your household refuse collection service.

Limitations:

To retain the effectiveness of the color changing formula, use a damp cloth to wipe access material out of the container rim, close immediately after use.

• Store container in a cool, dry place away from extreme heat or cold. Protect from freezing.
• For best results, prime before painting with any sheen higher than flat to prevent flashing.
• Do not apply at temperatures below 50 °F.
• Do not apply outside if rain is expected within 24 hours.
• Do not use as a caulk or sealant for structural joints, cracks, floors, or exterior substrates where expansion and contraction may occur.
• For exterior use, seal and topcoat with an exterior system.
• Wash hands thoroughly after handling.
• Shelf life of unopened container is 12 months from date of manufacture when stored under normal conditions.

For one year from the date of purchase, Behr Process LLC warrants to the original consumer purchaser, (1) that the product meets Behr Process LLC’s manufacturing specifications, and (2) the performance of this product when applied according to the label instructions and specifications. If this product is found not to perform as specified on the label within one year from the date of purchase, Behr Process LLC will, at its option and upon presentation of proof-of-purchase (the original receipt), either furnish an equivalent amount of new product or refund the original purchase price of this product to you. This warranty excludes (1) labor and costs of labor for the application or removal of any product, and (2) any incidental or consequential damages, whether based on breach of express or implied warranty, negligence, strict liability or any other legal theory. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. To the extent permitted by applicable law, any implied warranties including the implied warranties of merchantability and of fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the duration of this express warranty. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
