Surface Preparation
- For refinishing, remove all wax or cleaner build-up with a wax stripper or degreaser prior to sanding.
- Sand all surfaces in the direction of the wood grain to desired smoothness.
- DO NOT USE steel wool.
- Remove all dust from sanded surfaces and clean with a tack cloth.
- If desired, apply BEHR® Wood Stain. Follow all label instructions.

Application
Note: Above dry times are based on good ventilation, the temperature of 77°F and 50% relative humidity. Lower temperature, higher humidity, lack of air movement or application of thick coats will extend drying times. Slight ambering may be experienced when Polyurethane is applied over light-colored wood surfaces. Always spot test on an inconspicuous area to ensure a satisfactory result.-
Do not apply in direct sunlight or in temperatures below 55°F (10°C) or above 90°F (32°C).

Shake can vigorously for 1 minute after mixing ball begins to rattle and often during use.

Protect adjacent areas from overspray. Wet overspray can be removed with soap and water.

Hold can vertically 12 inches from surface. Depress button fully and spray using an even, sweeping motion with slightly overlapping strokes.

On unfinished wood, apply sufficient material to seal open joints, edges, and end-grain.

Apply thin coats to avoid runs and sags. Recoat within 1 hour. If unable to do so, wait a minimum of 72 hours, then lightly sand and recoat.

Apply at least 3 coats on unfinished wood and 2 coats on surfaces already finished.

After the final coat, allow at least 24 hours before normal use.

After each use, clear valve by holding can upside down and spraying until only clear gas comes out.

If the spray button becomes clogged, wear eye protection, wipe off button opening with lacquer thinner.

For one year from the date of purchase, Behr Process LLC warrants to the original consumer purchaser, (1) that the product meets Behr Process LLC’s manufacturing specifications, and (2) the performance of this product when applied according to the label instructions and specifications. In the event this product proves to be defective within one year from the date of purchase, Behr Process LLC will, at its option and upon presentation of proof-of-purchase (the original receipt), either furnish an equivalent amount of new product or refund the original purchase price of this product to you.
