Hello, I painted my bathroom cabinets French Colony (now called Dusty Denim). Would whisper white be a good color to paint the walls in there?

Hello there again John, Dusty Denim is a truly elegant and timeless shade, offering a refined silver-blue hue that brings a sense of calm and sophistication to any space. When paired with the gentle warmth of Whisper White on the walls, the contrast creates a beautifully balanced and inviting atmosphere.

      Happy Painting!

Hello, I’m considering Whisper White for an all-house white for trim, and for built-ins around my brick fireplace. We’re in the woods so not much natural light, and we’re facing east. If we’re going for a warm and earthy color palette throughout, what beiges and browns could you suggest for walls? Thank you!

      Hi Phil,
Thank you for visiting our blog!
Whisper White is a beautiful choice for trim—its soft warmth pairs wonderfully with a variety of earthy tones. Given your east-facing home nestled in the woods and your goal of creating a warm, grounded palette, here are a few wall colors that complement Whisper White.

      Beige & Taupe Options:

Even Better Beige DC-010 – A mid-tone beige that adds warmth and balance.
Wheat Bread 720C-3 – A soft taupe with subtle gray and brown undertones, great for a cozy, natural feel.
Roman Plaster PPU7-10 – A light beige that helps brighten up spaces with limited natural light.
Creamy Mushroom PPU5-13 – A warm beige with taupe undertones, perfect for creating a relaxed, earthy atmosphere.

To help you decide, 8oz sample sizes of each color are available at your local Home Depot. Testing them in your space is a great way to see how they interact with your lighting and surroundings.
Hope this helps, and feel free to reach out if you’d like more guidance!

      Colorfully yours,
      Deanna
