The holidays are a festive time to make an amazing first impression as guests enter your winter wonderland. Bring some holiday cheer home with an easy and fun way to display cards using our color of the month Red Pepper. This month, transform window shutters into holiday card holders that you can mount on the wall or prop up against furniture. This shutter can also be used all year long as a great accent piece.

Red Pepper PPU2-2 paint can.
With its warm undertones, Red Pepper is the perfect color to spice up your holidays.

Difficulty Level: Beginner

Time To Complete: 30 – 45 minutes

Materials:

Overhead shot of materials needed.
  • Behr Paint: Red Pepper PPU2-2
  • Pair of Shutters 12 in. x 31 in.
  • Paint Brush
  • Holiday Decor

Paint Your Shutters

Use your paint brush to evenly apply paint on to shutters.

Make sure to position your paint bristles at an angle to paint hard to reach places.

Let the shutters completely dry before painting the back side. Apply a second coat of paint if needed.
