Teal is a harmonized balance between blue and green similar to the infinite oceans.
This tone is very versatile in ways that it can be cool and tranquil or striking and bold. A vivid bold teal makes the ideal accent wall, or door by adding timelessness and elegance. Using teal with furnishings will accentuate any living space by adding a splash of color.

What colors go wit teal
Hello Robin, thank you for visiting our blog!
Teal colors pairs nicely with whites, grays, neutrals and if you really want to add a pop of color with it then pair with yellow or oranges shades.
Do you need specific color recommendations?

Hi, What color and paint finish is the dining room wall above. also, I have a approx. 10 ft curved wall with high ceilings and sky lights. I want to mimic ocean colors around this area. I like the bold teal look but what finish should I use and what colors would go well on the ceiling and surrounding walls.
Hi Lillian,
Thanks for your message!
The dining room wall is painted in Paradise Landscape with an Eggshell finish.
For your curved wall with high ceilings and skylights, a bold teal like Calypso Blue HDC-CL-27 or Caribe PPU13-01 would beautifully evoke ocean tones. I recommend an Eggshell finish here as well—it’s durable and reflects light subtly, which works well with natural lighting from skylights.
To complement the teal:
Ceiling: Try a soft, airy shade like Frost which is a soft white with blue undertone.
Surrounding walls: Consider lighter coastal gray hues like Platinum which is a gray-blue or Offshore Mist PPU13-16 to keep the space feeling open and cohesive.
We do offer 8oz samples for purchase at your local Home Depot so you can test these colors directly on your walls and see how they appear at different times of the day.
Best,
Deanna Ron
