Colorfully, Behr fans are invited to submit questions via the Ask Erika portal on the blog site. All questions will be answered! An inquiry came in from a reader named Robin asking for advice on how to coordinate colors for an orange brick house.
Question: I have a house with orange brick and would like to know which Behr color scheme you would choose for this home’s body , trim, shutters, and doors.
Thank you Robin, for your interest in BEHR paint products!
Based on the information that you have provided to us, we have found two different paint schemes for you to consider for your home. The first is Ethiopia PPU5-06 for the garage area, Basketry PPU4-05 for the siding area, Natural Almond PPU4-12 for the trim and Moroccan Henna PPU3-19 for the front door.
The second is Mossy Bank PPU8-21 for the garage area, Exploring Khaki PPU8-6 for the shingled area, Coliseum Marble PPU8-16 for the trim and Ivy Topiary PPU8-25 for the front door.
Due to differences in monitors and technical factors, the digital colors here cannot be represented with their true qualities. These color samples should only be considered a guide. Please refer to actual swatches for true color. We strongly recommend beginning with an 8 oz. sample container of the color you choose and apply it to a small area on your exterior to ensure your satisfaction with the color choice. It is always a good idea to see how the light and ambient conditions affect the color at different points in the day.
Thank you for taking the time to email us and we wish you well in all your future paint projects.
