Color of the Month: Flamingo Feather

A collage of images representing the paint color: Flamingo Feather
June is the start of the summer months of warm weather, sunny skies and vivid blooms basking in the beauty of the day. The soft pink in Behr’s Flamingo Feather M180-3 is equal parts summertime sunrise and the warming feeling of sunset as the sun dips below the skyline, which is why we’ve chosen it as our Color of the Month.

A hint of Flamingo Feather adds subtle warmth as a backdrop for accent pieces on display in an entryway. Stack wooden boxes on their sides to construct a creative display space spotlighting antique books, white ceramics, plants or other beautiful decor collectibles.

Flamingo Feather adds a hint of elegance to a dining room decked out in navy and white. Use this peachy-pink color on window-seat and dining-bench upholstery, paired with a pink vase or two on display in the dining room’s built-in cabinets. Add a playful touch with a chandelier made from frilly leis or faux-feather boas.

Flamingo Pink is the perfect wall color for any glamour girl’s bathroom or dressing area. Add a mirror-covered vanity or dressing table for a stunning look that’s both classic and totally trendy. White trim creates a clean visual border between walls and the floor for a finished look.

Apply this pastel peach on bedroom walls for a space that is warm, inviting and relaxing. It’s an ideal alternative to cool hues for a bedroom inspired by coastal cottage decor.  Complete the look with a sisal or seagrass rug, plus textured throw pillows in sand and sea tones.
