This spring, soft colors are having a moment, and Mocha Ice N150-1 captures it beautifully. Among today’s trending pink paint colors, this refined hue offers a fresh, modern perspective; warm, elevated, and quietly expressive. Subtle enough to act as a neutral yet expressive enough to make a statement, Mocha Ice adds depth and softness to every space it touches.
From calming bathrooms to thoughtfully layered bedrooms and Japandi-inspired kitchens, this shade proves that pink paint colors for walls can feel sophisticated, timeless, and effortlessly modern.

Mocha Ice brings depth and softness to the bedroom when used as part of a two-tone wall design. As one of the most livable light pink paint colors, it pairs beautifully with Urban Nature, a light, nature-inspired green on the upper wall. Together, they create a grounded, restorative atmosphere that feels calm and intentional.

In a living room, a Mocha Ice accent wall creates a soothing environment with a gentle hint of color. The dusty pink tone warms the space while maintaining a clean, elevated look, perfect for those searching for a soft near-neutral paint color that feels distinctive.

In a Japandi-inspired kitchen, Mocha Ice plays beautifully with dark, mid, and earthy tones. When paired with Terra Cotta Urn, the walls enhance the handcrafted, organic feel that defines the style. Light-tone cabinetry keeps the space feeling open, while darker accents like Cracked Pepper add contrast and structure. Mocha Ice ties it all together, bringing softness and warmth to a minimalist, functional space.

Mocha Ice makes an unexpected yet elegant choice for doors, especially in entryways and foyers. A front door painted in this soft pink paint creates a welcoming first impression without overpowering the space.

As one of today’s most versatile light pink paint colors, it feels elevated and approachable when paired with crisp whites or natural wood tones.

Mocha Ice proves that pink can be both subtle and sophisticated. Its dusty, light blush tone brings warmth, versatility, and understated charm to a variety of spaces, from bathrooms and bedrooms to kitchens and entryways. Whether used as a main wall color or a thoughtful accent, Mocha Ice elevates interiors with a softness that feels intentional, modern, and timeless.

How about this for a basement with black open ceilings? Any renderings of that?
Hi Jessica – Mocha Ice could look really striking in a basement with black open ceilings. Without seeing a photo of the space it is to know for sure but we can imagine Mocha Ice creating a nice contrast while still keeping the space feeling warm and inviting rather than too stark.
We don’t have image of something like what you’re describing to rendering, but you can actually visualize it pretty easily using the color visualization feature of BEHR’s ChatHue. https://chathue.behr.com/chat

I fell in love with Mocha Ice first time I saw it. I’m painting my bedroom Mocha Ice with white trim. I bought new white lace curtains for the window. Can’t wait to get it finished.
Hi Rebecca – That sounds absolutely beautiful! Mocha Ice is such a soft, inviting color, and pairing it with crisp white trim will really make the space feel fresh and elegant. The white lace curtains sound like the perfect finishing touch!
It’s always exciting to see a room come together, and it sounds like your bedroom will have a calm, cozy feel once it’s complete. We’d love to hear how it turns out!
Thank you for choosing BEHR and sharing your project with us.

Can you please recommend a pallete that includes warm earthtones and neutrals including cream colors that aren’t ponknor peachy, spice and similar colors (burnt sienna/paprika, terracotta), and mossy dark greens with light greens as well? All warm colors please?
Hi Emily,
Absolutely! This is a beautiful direction, and there are some great warm, earthy tones that will give you that grounded, natural feel without leaning too peachy or pink.
For a cohesive palette, I recommend exploring:
Creamy Mushroom (PPU5-13)
Rio Rust (S190-6)
Moroccan Henna (PPU3-19)
Potter’s Clay
Sorrel Leaf (N340-6)
Livingston (N330-5)
To preview how these colors will look in a room setting, you can visit BEHR.com/ChatHue.
Let me know what you think or if you’d like help narrowing it down further!

With the Mocha Ice for bedrooms, what sheen would you suggest? I got a sample in Saturn and it seems so shiny. Thank you in advance for your reply.
Hi Julie – Thank you for reaching out and for considering Mocha Ice for your bedroom, it’s a beautiful, calming color choice!
For bedrooms, we typically recommend a Matte or Eggshell sheen. These finishes provide a soft, low-reflective look that helps create a relaxing atmosphere and minimizes the appearance of surface imperfections.
If your sample in Saturn appears too shiny, that’s likely due to the higher sheen level. Switching to Matte or Eggshell will give you a more subtle, cozy finish while still being durable and easy to maintain.
